Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 12, 2026
At HTML Beautifier, your privacy and the security of your proprietary code are our highest priorities. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle data when you use our website.
1. Local HTML Processing (Zero Uploads)
The most important aspect of our service is that we do not upload, store, or transmit your HTML code.
When you paste code into the HTML Beautifier tool, all processing and formatting algorithms are executed strictly within your local web browser using client-side Vanilla JavaScript. Your code never reaches our servers, making our tool completely safe for corporate, proprietary, and sensitive development environments.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
Because our application runs locally, we do not collect:
- The contents of your HTML files.
- Your formatting preferences.
- Personally Identifiable Information (PII) unless you explicitly email it to us.
3. Cloudflare Infrastructure & Server Logs
Our static files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) are hosted and served via Cloudflare infrastructure. Like almost all websites on the internet, when you visit our site, standard server logs are temporarily generated. These logs may include:
- Your IP address.
- Browser type and version.
- Time of access.
- Referring pages.
This information is used strictly for security purposes (e.g., preventing DDoS attacks) and basic operational analytics. It is not linked to any personal identity.
4. Analytics and Cookies
We believe in a fast, privacy-first web experience. As such, we do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixels, or intrusive third-party tracking cookies. We do not track your movement across the internet.
We may use essential local storage strictly for remembering simple UI states (like if a toast notification was closed), but we do not use cookies for tracking purposes.
5. Contact Information
If you choose to email us at the contact address provided on our Contact page for support or inquiries, we will have access to your email address and any information you provide in the message. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry and never sell it to third parties or enroll you in marketing lists.
6. Third-Party Links
Our blog or documentation may contain links to third-party resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external websites.
7. Changes to this Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. If significant changes occur, we will reflect the new "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
